Nursing Home Care, Private Room - The average cost of nursing home care in 2009 for a private room is $79,935 per year or $219 per day. This is a 3.3% increase from 2008.
Nursing Home Care, Semiprivate Room - The average cost of nursing home care in 2009 for a semiprivate room is $72,270 per year or $198 per day. This is a 3.7% increase from 2008.
Home Health Care Aide Services - The 2009 average rate for a home health aide is $21 per hour, which gives a 5% increase from 2008.
Homemaker Services - The 2009 average rate for a homemaker is $19 per hour, with a 5.6% increase from 2008.
Adult Day Center - The 2009 average rate for an adult day service is $67 a day. This is a 4.7% increase from 2008.
Assisted Living Facility - The national average in 2009 for a private room and private bath in an assisted living facility is $3,131 per month, reflecting an average annual cost of $37,572, giving a 3.3% increase from the previous year.
